Skinvive™ is an injectable hyaluronic acid falling under the Juvéderm product line from Allergan. It that is injected just below the surface of the skin in the cheeks to add hydration and plumpness resulting in a luminous glow to the skin. Skinvive™ uses its FDA-approved formula of hyaluronic acid molecules to attract hydration to the areas it is injected. It is the ultimate boost your skin needs to address concerns like skin dullness and changes in skin texture due to aging and UVA/UVB rays from prolonged sun exposure. Skinvive™ is not an injectable filler, so it will not change the shape or volume of the face in any way, but instead will improve the quality of the skin as it acts an injectable moisturizer.
What should I expect during my Skinvive treatment?

Your nurse injector will apply a topical numbing cream to the skin on your cheeks so that you are as comfortable as possible during the treatment. You may still feel a pinch here and there, but the treatment is tolerated well with the topical numbing cream. Because the goal is to inject Skinvive™ superficially, our injectors use a technique to disperse microdroplets of Skinvive™ evenly under the skin. Over time, the water attracting molecules inside the Skinvive™ formula will attract immense hydration to the skin, hydrating from within. In combination with a custom, hydrating skincare routine and daily SPF use you will look refreshed and glowy.

How often should I see my injector for Skinvive?
Most patients see a change to their skin within the first few weeks, but your optimal results will be more noticeable at the three-month mark. Results from Skinvive™ typically last for about 6 months so most patients come back and visit us about twice a year for their Skinvive™ touch-up.
