Tummy Tuck Patient 154
Description:
This patient lost about 100 lbs after gastric bypass surgery. Her heaviest weight was about 300 lbs. Her before photo is when she was down to 240lbs. She lost an additional 40 lbs before her surgery was completed. So these photos are slightly deceptive, but not intentionally. It is important to know that abdominoplasty surgery is much safer when a patient’s body mass index is less than 30. Completing the surgery at a higher weight increases risk for having complications. But when the weight loss goal is complete, it allows for a dramatic transformation in body shape.
