Nasal Reconstruction Patient 08
Description:
This patient had both basal and squamous cell cancers removed from her nose leaving large and difficult defects. The underlying cartilage was exposed which needed to be covered by vascularized tissue. I reconstructed the nose with a combination of tissue rearrangement techniques. The left sided defect was repaired with a banner flap and the larger right sided lesion was repaired with a forehead flap. She has a very natural result 6 months after her surgery.
