Breast Revision Patient 12
Description:
This patient had a tuberous breast deformity. She proceeded with a breast augmentation in which the constricted bands of the lower portion of the breasts were surgically softened. The procedure was effective in softening the constricted lower poles of the breast, but unfortunately weakened the inframammary fold connective tissues. The implants “bottomed out” leaving her with a deformity sometimes referred to as a “double bubble”. The deformity was corrected by placing reinforcement internal sutures within the implant capsule running along the natural crease of the breasts. She now has a stable result.
