Breast Revision Patient 03
Description:
This patient had implants that were originally placed in the submuscular pocket about 13 years prior. They had “bottomed out” and were now in the subglandular space. The right implant pocket had become severely expanded laterally onto the chest wall. Her implants were removed and the skin allowed to retract. Several weeks later, I was able to reshape the internal implant pocket with suturing techniques. She ended up with a very nice improvement without the need for additional external scars. We also replaced her saline implants with silicone gel implants.
