Description:
This patient had a breast reduction that was complicated by a difficult wound that developed on the left breast. Wound complications are not common with breast reductions, but they do happen sometimes. She was a great patient and followed all of her wound care instructions and was rewarded with a very nice result in which the left breast ended up healing just as well and the right.
