Breast Lift Patient 21
Description:
This patient developed a very widened and visible scar on her right breast after a dermatologic excision of concerning moles. She wanted to remove the scar if possible. After much discussion, she agreed that the best option was to improve the scar, but not remove it completely. We decided to complete a vertical breast lift with a slight reduction on the left side. This allowed for the relocation of the scar more to the anterior surface of the breast that was easier to disguise in bras and bikinis. Much of the scar was removed and only a small amount remains. She still has some breast asymmetry, but it is much improved.
